Birds in Art

Fall is an amazing time of year to go out and watch birds. Many birds are busy migrating to warmer places and this offers us a great chance to see them in larger numbers. However, with all this early October snow some of you may hesitate to put on your warm hats and mittens and head outdoors to watch birds.

Don't worry! The local Wausau area offers one of the best indoor "birding" opportunity at the Birds in Art exhibit at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. These works of art are sure to make your heart flutter. The exhibit is open until November 15, 2009 and is totally free.

This year the exhibit even received a write up in the Wall Street Journal! Check it out here!

Happy Birding!
